Our story
One council, every community.
SAMC was established as a representative body to unify South African Muslims through faithful service, trustworthy communication and effective community work.
We support member mosques and organisations with shared infrastructure, run national programmes during Ramadan and Hajj, and coordinate emergency relief whenever our communities are in need.
Above all, we exist to make it easier for every Muslim in South Africa to live, learn and give — with their council standing alongside them.
